Top takeaways + program tips

Below we've gathered our top takeaways from the report and tips on how your program can help you support your members.

Linking Wellbeing to Work

The impact of mental health

41% feel mental & emotional health is most likely to have an impact on their ability to do their job.

Mental and emotional health is foundational. When employee’s health declines, their ability to be successful in their role suffers. Many of them also noted they are unaware if their employer offers certain benefits, like mental and emotional health support.

Of those that said they were unaware, 8% of those employees do have this type of benefit.

Navigating the Maze of Benefits

The need for clarity

Most employees (88%) use between two and five websites, portals, or apps to access their organization's benefits.

Healthcare costs are rising. Coupled with a complex healthcare system and multiple websites to use. And many employees are navigating all this alone (39%).

Let’s factor in their confidence levels in receiving the best care at the lowest cost. 37% noted they are not confident at all or not very confident, and only 16% are very confident.

Better Programs, Better Outcomes.

The desire for an optimized program

More than 75% of those with an optimized health and wellbeing program do not report burnout as a major problem at their company.

Optimized programs are connected and designed to engage. Leaders integrate analytics to guide initiatives. Which optimizes spending, adaption, and future improvements across the organization.

How does this help your people? Leads to fewer employee issues, health having less impact on job performance, and less time wasted searching for answers about their benefits programs.
