### What's new?
We’ve added a multi-layered security measure that provides peace of mind for our users, ensuring that only authorized personnel can access sensitive data. There is now a 2-step process to log on. For example, users will (1) log on as they do currently (2) then enter a verification code sent to their email address.
### Why it matters?
This addresses the increased security requirements for healthcare organizations to protect PHI from data breaches.
### Key Benefits
This extra security protects patients from data breaches and protects the organization from the risk of ransom or other financial costs or loss due to inadequate security.
This allows us to align with the heightened security requirements of healthcare organizations while also contributing to enhanced client satisfaction and proactive defense against data breaches, making it a crucial asset in fortifying the security of patient/member data.
